i need advice! Molly, the dog that escaped and lived in the woods in Jax for 15 days,that i drove to jacksonville EVERYDAY until we caught her. I am at wits end. i just dont know what to do. She eats, walls (all the way to the siding on the outside of the house), floors, furniture, curtains, phone cords, electric cords, bed sheets on my bed, comforters, blankets, stairs, and bed pillows. not to mention the little stuff like boxes, desk, painting supplies, newspaper and pee pads. we tried crating her, she pulls the curtains through the kennel and ate holes in them. i pulled the curtains up and she ate the bed i put in the crate, i took out the bed and put towels or blankets, she ate them too. i cover the furniture with blankets and furniture covers, she ate the covers and the cushions, shredded the foam and there is nothing left to the fabric. if i throw out the furniture she will eat the rest of the walls! in bed at night she ate my bedroom wall and then ate the corners off of the pillows and pillowcases. i took her to the vet and her put her on medication TWICE the normal amount and yet when i came home today, the chair cover and the chair were eaten. PLEASE help me!!!! She is terrified of humans, you cant discipline her. you cant even raise your voice without sending her into a panic. she was kept in a walk in closet, for 4 months before i got her, devoid of any sensory stimulation. when i caught her in the middle of eating the furniture(she does it right in front of us) and i raised my voice, she snapped at my face. Did i mention i ONLY rent?! i now have to replace all the furniture as well as walls and floors :(
