imma just say this...the writers for this show missed a huge opportunity with the direction they could have taken Korra in. i watched the first season and there were a lot of interesting problems left over from the end of that story, namely that non-benders were treated as second class citizens and even though the villain was a terrible person that cause is not. so...why skimp on that for the second season? when i heard what they were doing with Korra for the follow up it sounded like they were going to turn her into the main antagonist for the story (which would have been awesome) but instead they just let that whole plot line drop. i know that this is a kids show but the first Avatar show featured some really dark themes like genocide, patricide, revenge, and death in a very frank way that even the young audiences could understand. sure the action still looks good but i think that Korra may have wore out her welcome (at least for me).
