my top 10 most influential producers at the moment which is subject to change very quickly.. ta Ben Broughton for da nomination in no particular order 1. Alix Perez because i think his albums Chroma Chords and 1984 are phenomenal as well as his half time/grimey stuff introduced me to a different face of drum & bass which i love 2. Flume recently has had a big impact on my music taste, i love his sound and i find his music can really take me somewhere 3. Flying Lotus Experimental hip hop at its best, His new album is brilliant and the track he has recently released with Kendrick Lamar is musically incredible 4. Rockwell i feel really pushes boundaries with drum & bass and has managed to find his own sound from whats already a really established genre, also his radio shows/mixes contain gold dust throughout 5. My Nu Leng as far as 128 goes for me i think these guys are particularly killing it, i love how theyve managed to integrate some of the darker sounds of drum & bass to the 128 scene 6. Dub Phizix love their half time stuff and just Buffalo. 7. Metrik for a long time i really vibed euphoric drum & bass and metrik was always a personal favourite for me 8. Ghostpoet recently has really interested me, i heard his stuff on some grotty london drama and loved it, broken uk grime for me at its best (sorry Clinton if im not quite educated on that field enough to make that claim hahaha) 9. EmperorDNB i really like the way he manages to make techy drum & bass without making it sound too mechanical, manages to keep a lot of life and vibes within his productions 10. Icicle really got me into deep dark minimal drum & bass and made me realise that sometimes just a simple sub bassline and a drum break is really all you need. I nominate Ded Tebiase Mike Hawes and Alexander Ushakov
