The AR1A complex has a range of 130 kilometers. Russia’s military-industrial enterprises were involved in the design work. Azerbaijan recently purchased ‘Smerch’ multiple rocket launchers. Spokesman of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan neither refuted nor confirmed the reports. “Armenia’s armed forces are constantly improving their efficiency and equipped with up-to-date armaments. The public is regularly informed of the acquisitions,” he said.
