ok so heres my really simple sofrito recipe that i normally put in i EVERYTHING (beans, soups, veggies, chili, tomato sauces...) and its delicious to put in your savory smoothies like Jennys now-famous gazpacho ;). You can also do big batches of this and stick it in the freezer, in the fridge it can last you about 3 months. So, here goes... 1 Green Bell pepper 1 Red bell pepper 8-10 ajis dulces (pictured below, sometimes they are orange or yellow too) handful of parsley handful or cilantro handful of Recao (aka cilantro ancho) 4-5 cloves garlic 1 onion tsp celtic sea salt tsp pepper Pop ingredients in blender until all ingredients are finely chopped, I usually plot a big tablespoon of it in my recipes. Enjoy!
