strange ear symptoms, any ideas please comment This is for ME, not my son. I have a feeling of pressure in my ear like it needs to pop but cant, no matter what I try. Also, loud or low-tone sounds make the ear ping as though it is trying to pop - even if Im on the phone on my other ear, it pings in correspondence with the sounds from the phone. All so strange, but no fever or drainage, or other obvious wrongness. But a slowly increasing level of discomfort, especially with the pinging which is relatively recent, just over about a year, and noticeably increasing over the past four months or so. The other pressure feeling Ive had for a very long time, and ignored, but now its getting a bit much. So if you have any ideas, let me know. WebMD is, of course a fount of worrisome possible disorders, so Im going the practical route and asking all of you. Thanks.
