Heavy rain caused a road closure on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. Part of Norways Road was shut down Tuesday due to saturated earth that gave way and therefore created a sink hole. The road is closed from 325 Norways Rd. to Ridge Road, but open only to local traffic from that location to Marks Road. In the meantime, Toms Road in Shannonville is open for local traffic only due to of severe flooding in the area.
