this is the email i just received. i am furious. I think you have a great idea and I enjoyed reading the article in the Mountain Xpress in July. However, your trailer has been sitting in exactly the same spot for months and months at the top of Watauga near Pearson in front of some of the most historic houses in the neighborhood and we are tired of looking at it. It also can block traffic frequently because all the tourist trollies, UPS, bigger vehicles come frequently and its hard to see around. If you are going to use it, please take it home with you so we dont have to look at it. If you need investors I may be able to help you get started because I love the concept and have always supported libraries - you could make friends by being a better neighbor. Thank you. signed, susan roderick i told her that the historic houses in this neighborhood do nothing for the citizens of this city, much less the children. and that i will move the trailer 100 feet to in front of my house. and that if i hear another word out of her i will contact the mountain xpress to do another article. and that she would be the last person on earth i would ever take help from. why cant people just mind their own business? now i know, the whole of montford doesnt want to see the bookmobile anymore? hmmm. interesting.
