ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਤੇਰੈ ਵਸਿ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰਾ ॥ sabh ko tayrai vas agam agocharaa. It is evident that Waheguru is the most powerful of all and no one can impose his power on Him. There is no way a person can control Waheguru. Everyone is under His power, He is inaccessible and unfathomable. Question here is how to control Him? Guruji says that there is no one who can control Him and some of the actions we do assuming that we can control him are false and have no basis. Actually in the spiritual world we do all these acts thinking that we will be able to make Waheguru happy, but actually these are just one of the acts and have no relevance in making Him happy. Guruji says that • Running away or despising the world is one of those things, people feel that if they run away from their families/world, they would be able to find him or make Him happy; or • By studying Vedas , or other religious books, just reading won’t suffice , unless the purpose is to improve one’s life as per virtues enumerated by Guruji; or • By bathing at holy places , one can only be washing his body but when it comes to purifying one’s own soul, it can only happen by gaining control over the five vices enumerated by Guruji ; or • By wandering all over the world in search of the Lord, Guruji always advised a Sikh to search lord within his own soul and mind ; or • By playing any cleaver tricks , you can make others fool by playing tricks but not Him ; or • By giving huge donations or charities , it is a common notion that by just giving huge donations or charities we would be able to make Him happy Then how to control Him? Guruji gives a very simple solution to this question. He says singing and listening of the virtuous name of Waheguru with true devotion and dedication is a key for achieving Waheguru. A true devotee is the one who regulate his life by inculcating and actively practicing virtues and renouncing all the vices. Guruji further says that He is not only under the control of His devotees but also their strength.
