2 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS: FEELING ANXIOUS? You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in You.- Isaiah 26:3 Perfect peace. I know some days are anything but peaceful and my mind is going 1,000 different places. I am afraid of the future, afraid of what could happen that day or afraid of what people will do or say. Will I get everything done in time? Will Christmas go as planned? Sound familiar? Whenever we find ourselves far away from perfect peace, it is because we dont have our minds stayed on God. Our imagination is what gets us in trouble- not the logical side of our minds....its where we let our mind wander to. Take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.- 2 Corinthians 10:5 THIS is how we find Gods peace- through taking our imagination and bad thoughts captive and praying that God will remove them and fill that space with His peace.
