An autopsy released Friday revealed Philip Seymour Hoffman had a mix of heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines and amphetamines in his system when he was found dead February 2. The coroner listed the official cause of Hoffmans death as an acute mixed drug intoxication. In a statement, the New York medical examiners office noted the manner of death was ruled an accident. The 46-year-old was found in the bathroom of his fourth-floor apartment in Manhattan with a needle in his arm, law enforcement officials told HLN. Investigators found 50 bags of what is believed to be heroin inside the apartment, according to law enforcement officials.
