As the anniversary of September 11th comes round once again, a liberal Saudi Arabian group is trying to draw a connection between the media’s blame of Islam and the growth of Islamic terrorism. It’s not enough that we must be the victims of these ideological idiots, but now we must also shoulder the blame for creating them in the first place. This attempt – like all the ones previous to this one – to blame outspoken critics for the rise of Islamic terrorism is wrongheaded, insincere, and absurd. While Islam defenders worldwide try to make up excuses for groups like ISIS, al Qaeda, Boko Harem, and Hamas, one need only listen to what these groups are saying to know that their apologists are full of it.
