Been busy as hell harvesting from my garden and preserving that harvest.(this is from 8 heirloom tomato plants) Last night I peeled and chopped up at LEAST 50 lbs and today my Wife is making hot sausage spaghetti sauce from it to can. Over the next week or 2 there will be another 150 plus lbs to be harvested. Its a lot of work but worth it to cut GMOs from our diet. Another other thing, I have been cooking with sourdough starter since the mid 80s. I can make sourdough bread & bread products that are extremely sour, sweet as honey or about any flavor you can think of and all for from .06 to .09 cents a pound. Ingredients for basic sourdough bread products are flour, water, salt and oil. Its a GREAT basic item for your GOOD or BUGOUT bag. If any cooks out there want to learn how and get a FREE 150 plus year old Alaskan starter give me a shout out. Sourdough is as old or older than civilization and as simple as mixing the ingredients letting it raise and cooking it on a hot rock. Mountain Man
