Bid to Own My “Quilt of 300 Hands” In eBay Benefit Auction You have one more day—today—to bid to win this beautiful one-of-a-kind quilt created from squares donated by quilters across the U.S. Last year I invited my quilting readers to donate squares so the quilt could be made as a fundraiser for Oaklawn Psychiatric Center’s program that serves the Amish in Goshen, Indiana. So many of you responded that we were able to have not one but two quilts made! This is the second of those two. With the squares machine-stitched together to form the lovely project, the quilt measures 74” x 60,” perfect for a single/twin bed or daybed—or for use as a wall hanging. The quilter commissioned for the promotion, Patricia Oglesby, of Oklahoma City, OK, utilized 143 of the smaller donated cotton squares and 5 large ones. There are some delightfully creative squares and beautiful traditional ones. Truly a collector’s piece! Total proceeds of the auction of the “Quilt of 300 Hands” will go to Oaklawn, and shipping is free to the winning bidder! Check it out on eBay and bid now! ebay/itm/Wanda-Brunstetters-One-of-a-Kind-74-x-60-Cotton-Quilt-of-300-Hands-/221515654909?pt=US_Quilts_Bedspreads_and_Coverlets&hash=item33935ca6fd
