Casually looking for an experienced and confident part-boarder for my green 9 year old Hanoverian mare. Cali is a 1.20m prospect, started late due to no fault of her own, with beautiful movement on the flat. Very light with expressive gaits, extremely flexible and athletic mare. Requires a confident rider with a light hand who knows how to balance and use their seat to control. Shes very sensitive but can be quiet strong. She would never bolt but gets quick when she is unbalanced. Cali loves to jump but has just started over fences while under saddle. Jumping 36 verticals and oxers (singles and lines only), working up to small courses. This mare has been learning and excelling very quickly. She was started professionally as a 3 year old and then became a pasture puff for unknown reasons. I re-started her in May of this year and she has been coming along beautifully. Cali just loves to work and will do anything for her rider once shes bonded to them. Earning her trust takes some time but once you have it the partnership is amazing. I would prefer to find a dressage or flat-work only rider for her as I have someone working on her jumping with me, but would consider riders looking to do the jumpers. Flexible amounts of riding time available but on average 2-3 rides per week for $200 a month. Showing (with trailering) once shes ready and on-site coaching available from the in-barn coach.
