Congratulations to Caroline Beene and Kirkland Mawae for deciding on where they are going to attend and swim in college. Caroline had a ceremony earlier today at Saint Josephs Academy where all of her family and friends were in attendance to witness her sign her National Letter of Intent to enroll in the University of Alabama. This is a quickly rising SEC and National program that is led by two former National Team Coaches Denny Pursely and Jonty Skinner, whom both coached Shelly Ripple Johnston and Jayme Cramer. The staff at Alabama is extremely excited about the addition of Caroline next year as she will add to their sprint program for freestyle, backstroke and butterfly. Kirkland is going to have a ceremony on Monday November 17 at the Dunham School to sign his papers to attend Wingate University. Wingate is a perennial Division II power and he will look to make an immediate impact and help them win a National Title. We took photos of them recently at Crawfish Aquatics.
