~~Definitely A TMI post~~ I get to go home tomorrow! Finally got to stop my PCA (when u have a button to administer ur own meds) im still on IV fluids for while tonight cuz I needed Rocefen for a UTI from the stupid Foly..... One of the surgeons came to see me finally, and said it was a mess. My colon had one side full of adhesions attached to my abdomen, both ovaries and what was left of my fallopian tubes were covered in scar tissue and adhesions, as well as adhered to my abdomen. Lots of old scar tissue and adhesions from past surgeries/injuries as well. Everything was sent to be biopsied, but the surgeon said in her opinion, although large and full, nothing looked malignant. ( ♡♡♡♡ ) My hyperthyroidism has suddenly gone hypo, but my BP and tachycardia have been so good I havent needed any of my beta blocker. I am very sore, of course. No count of my sutures, but she used all disolvable, so no staples to be removed! I was cut literally hip to hip, not on top of any previous scar, so its a little higher up but not much. Recovery time is 6 to 8 weeks. No driving, stairs, (haha lol I live on the 3rd floor), or lifting. I am so glad to be going home soon. I really hope this helps my pain and tummy issues. Even w post surgery swelling I can tell quite a difference in my stomach shape and size so I can imagine how much was removed. The next update will hopefully be me heading home. ..just need a ride from swedes to rochelle and a med pickup in between. ...can help w gas. Yay! Its all done!!!!! Cant wait to see my bed, home, and furbabies
