Dolores left her old body today and we all will miss her so, She was my mother in love, but to my children, she was Grandma Do She was a good mom, but a great grandma, that always gave her best To preserve the memories of special times, so taking pictures was her quest! We always seemed to complain, as she wanted the most perfect shot And now, as we look back at life, I for one am thankful for the pictures we got! Each year at Christmas, we all would receive a special box of love Items she purchased throughout the year, in the closet she would shove Until the day before, when she would stay up all night Organizing all the socks, the combs and prizes to make the box just right! The grandchildren beamed with excitement, as they would open up there gift And somehow she managed to budget, to cover everyone on her list. She always remembered each ones birthday with a special little note A dollar for each year of life along with a sweet little poem she wrote She was a very musical lady, that loved to perform a tune A song that we will always remember, entitled Clair de Lune Her talents she passed on to family by teaching them to play And she hosted a show on the radio to share that Jesus is the way. The last few years of her life were the most difficult to bear But she never lost her faith in God and continued His love to share youtu.be/CvFH_6DNRCY
