Free Falling The Roofus Treepie @ Hayal Mughlan, Jhelum, Pakistan. #IntheAir #P3 f/5.6, 1/1250s, ISO 3200 @ 300mm. The shot was clicked near sunset and it was partly cloudy. I had to notch up the shutter speed to capture the flying about bird. The test shot came out very very underexposed with ISO 800. I decided to ignore the noise for the time being to get a better exposed image and notched up the ISO to 1600 and then 3200. The shot came out decent at 3200 exposure wise but very noisy. Now if I had a faster lens say 300mm 2.8 prime, it would have compensated for the low light. But since I was clicking the shot with a low budget tele and a crop frame, I had but no choice to go with these settings. In comes post processing for the noise. This article here helped me get a smoother, noiseless background. Its the first time I used alpha channels to get a better bokeh and get rid of the noise so there is a lot of room for improvement. But I wasnt totally disappointed with the final result. Here is the link to the article on how to use alpha channels for a shallower background. creativepro/article/photoshop-how-to-lens-blur-with-alpha-channels
