Functional food to reduce low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (A.K.A Bad Cholesterol), supported by evidence (studies) & their example. -For plant sterol / stanol (phytosterols / stanols), as far as i am concern, they contain only in 2 products available in Malaysia, which are HL-Milk (green color) and Naturel Margarine (green color). -I am not sure about the availability of red yeast rice supplement in Malaysia. -Instead of searching for these rare products (plant sterol or red yeast rice), which are usually more costly, why dont we choose foods that are commonly available such as those under the category of soluble fiber and soy protein? -Nuts such as almonds & walnuts may be quite costly for certain people, if affordable, recommended amount is not more than one handful per day (excessive intake are fatty) 经过研究被证实可以降低坏胆固醇 (LDL) 的食物 (Functional food) 和 一些食物的例子。 -植物固醇 (phytosterols / stanols) 据我所知在马来西亚只有在 HL 牛奶(青色的)和 Naturel Margarine 里含有。 -红曲米 (red yeast rice) 不确定那里可以找到。 -与其去寻找上述比较比较罕见食物 (也比较贵),不如多吃平时可以比较容易买到的食物,比如说在水溶性纤维类(soluble fiber)的麦片,全麦食品,苹果,橙,玉米,腰豆类,西兰花等;和大豆类食品 (soy protein) 比如说豆腐。 -坚果(nuts) 类食物如杏仁和核桃某些人可能会觉得比较贵,如有吃,一天不超过手的一抓 (吃太多很肥) Disclaimer: The author holds no responsibility for any harms caused by following the advises.
