FOOD & WINE is looking for an Associate Digital Editor to create and assign original, compelling, sticky, fun content with an attitude for both social media and the website. Content would include text, images, animated GIFs, and short social-media video. RESPONSIBILITIES • Work with the F&W brands Editor-in-Chief and online colleagues to create original content for the website and social media • Assign and curate compelling, relevant posts for newsletters, blogs and social media (includes assigning and editing outside contributors and writing) • Be on top of traffic and social media trends • Work with multiple teams to promote the content via all available brand channels REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate would: • Have 3-5 years of relevant digital experience • Be able to identify and maintain the F&W tone and point of view • Have excellent editing and writing skills • Have superb organizational skills and self-motivation • Be web- and social-media-savvy • Ideally, have great photography and videography skills • Understand and obsess over related trends • Have passion for all the aspects of the F&W brand • Be committed to helping F&W create buzz and become best-in-class in the marketplace
