How do I begin to describe last nights tribute concert to Walter.... The tent on the riverside was filled to the brink with love. Friends and fans from near and far had come to take part. Thunder, lightning and a massive electrical storm felt invigorating and did not slow the party under the tent down! Walter was beaming to hear his band, Curtis Salgado, Danny Bryant, and our son play. And so many other brilliant musicians who donated their time and talent. Walter stood up for a while and rocked out to Dannys beautiful guitar music - I danced and got 6 months of hospital out of my system! I got to introduce two of the most genuine and brilliant human beings to the stage: Dr. Mercer (Walters surgeon) and the amazing Dr. Shafer (Walters Hepatologist). We talked from the stage about organ donation, Donate Life Nebraska was in attendance and signed up dozens of new organ donors. Thank you to Jeff and Vanessa - our Omaha Angels extraordinaire, Thank you also to the Blues Society of Omaha. Look at our faces... that says it all. We are so very grateful.,
