I have not been on here for a while, been busy, been sick. When I created this page I did so with the intent that everyone would share and enjoy the contents therein. I also did not intend to spend my every waking moment running the page as I did in the beginning. As the page grew, it took on a life of its own and as any proud parent would do, I let it go. It is not mine , it is ours. You cannot own memories. You cannot corral the wind, bottle the sunlight or hold a moment in your hand. NO ONE has a right to hold our memories ransom. I have enjoyed every photo, every story , every glimpse into the past that anyone has shared and I am so very, very grateful to you all. That being said, I do understand that you put a lot of work into editing photos, I have done it myself. If you look at the picture of my grandparents on my home page you will not see the hours and hours of work in editing I put in, you only see a nice photo of two very dear people. I do understand all that work . Been there , done that. I know that picture has been shared, posted, printed, downloaded and who knows what all else. I am sure I received no credit for my work. I knew that when I posted it. That was a choice I made. Now, ANY administrator who removes any photograph from this page , other than inappropriate or offensive material will no longer be an administrator. There is a very simple reason for this, when you remove a photo, you remove every comment that was made with it. These comments sometimes contain valuable information that cannot be retrieved. We had this happen when Donna Hatfield had her little hissy fit and removed all the pictures she posted from Gracie Stovers Marsh Fork site because she was mad at me for not kissing her a** in just the right place at just the right time. Comments about who was in each picture and info on the picture is lost forever to us now. Some of that info came from people who are gone now . So once again, ANY administrator who removes ANY picture or post without my permission will be gone. Now, Charles Bradford, I did not see your post because I was not on here. I would have corrected the problem immediately had I known. I always try and give credit where it is due and do not take credit myself for any of it. If you will contact me and let me know exactly which photos are yours we will get it fixed ASAP. No problem. I thoroughly enjoy your posts and pics as well as everyone elses. Sorry for the misunderstanding . We appreciate you and your work .
