I was seriously hoping to buy a Nicanor Parra book here on my trip after such an amazing exhibit in Madrid, but cant seem to locate a copy of one of his books, even after stopping in 5 book stores, yes FIVE. Even the worlds oldest book store (Bertrand) didnºt have any of his works...what!??!! I think they said the books were published too long ago, but the english to portuguese translation is always a little off. crazy....looks like Amazon will be my resource. Thank you Amazon! Plus i will be supporting our local Seattle economy, so itºs all good. However, if they donºt have it, i will be very put out. Perhaps I should have bought a book at the exhibit when i had the chance.
