It’s more than just a song and more than just a good melody. And good vocals, the background. And the lyrics…the lyrics! They are just so powerful, that when you see them, they seem so easily written, yet still are touching the most sensitive place in your heart. Taking this along, with the video for the song, we get the full message. But, it’s not so easy to get it, as you may think. White foxes. Innocent, but not trustworthy? If you are a watchful, you’ll see that there is actually more than just one fox inside the video… and it’s like a life cycle, when the child just clings to a dead fox, the baby fox is born out of the old man’s head…and “my eye is my sanctuary”. Somewhere where not everyone could enter, somewhere where the treasure of being able to see is hidden, somewhere where I decide if to disturb myself again or become indifferent with the eyelids closed. Oh gosh, it’s so deep, yet I could have gone deeper and deeper and I would have found another thing, I wouldn’t have discussed. Last thing to mention in the lyrics – “for the gravy of your soul” – oh, my.... how good is that verse!
