Ive decided to do the 30 days of thanks challenge. Regrettably, there are many days I fail to recognize all my blessings. This challenge is designed to help us remember to be thankful and to show us all we have to be thankful for. Day1: Im thankful for the simple things in life. How many times do we take for granted our vision and hearing? Yes, without the aid of my glasses I have horrible vision. But praise the Lord I can still see the wonders He created. I cant imagine not being able to hear birds singing or the wind whistling through the leaves. I cant imagine not being able to hear my favorite songs or a childs laughter. Thank You Lord! Day 2: Im thankful for the different seasons. Each season brings something new, something fresh. Each season represents change. This reminds me of the seasons in our lives. The many changes each day brings. We must put our hope in Christ and trust that He is never surprised by these changes. He knows every mountain top and valley we arrive at. Day 3: Today Im thankful that God wants to use ordinary people to do extraordinary works. What an honor and privilege to be used by Almighty God. Lord help me to recognize opportunities to do good works that bring you glory. Help me do all things as an act of praise and worship to you. Help me to love like you... To truly love people without conditions.
