((((( MTN DRIVE CHAT )))) Bola, ( Maame Yaa writes to us) I seriously need help to deal with a very serious situation. Let me go Straight to the point…My husband steals my money… Heres how... My money is almost always short of what it is supposed to be. I have had a couple of house helps and my husband and I have always accused them of the offence so my husband will insist we send them away. But Bola, I woke up one night to use the wash room and I heard an usual noise in the kitchen. I tiptoed to there and peeped through the window and Bola, there was my husband with my bag in the kitchen taking out money. I tiptoed back quietly to lie down. He came back after some time to put the bag back quietly. Another time, he asked for a 100 cedis, I told him to get it from my bag and by the time I checked, an extra 200 cedis was gone. Bola, the third one shocked me to my bones. I had closed form the shop and he asked me to meet him out for dinner. Whiles we had dinner, I asked to use the restroom, later that evening when I checked my sales back at home, five hundred cedis was gone. Bola, this man works and earns salary. We have only one child and I practically take of the child because of what I do. I run an all ladies shop; Clothes, wigs, lingeries, jewelries etc. and business is usually good so I do not burden him. I practically take care of the home. How do I go about this? I want to confront him and let him know that I know what he does. But Bola, this is my husband. I cant even speak to anyone about it. I feel so sad because I just cant understand why. Please bring this up for your listeners to help me. We are also asking, Indeed, what will make a one partner steal the others money? What could be the reasons why they would steal rather than ask honorably? How does one handle the situation of a pilfering spouse?
