My Daughter Jazmine asked me tonight How do you know you Love someone? Although I knew this question was eventually going to come and I have tried to prepare for this moment for the last 2 years I feel my answer was pretty accurate. So this is what I told her- Jazmine, when you wake up and they are your first thought and youre looking at your phone to see if they have texted or called while you were asleep. And when you go to bed, you fall asleep thinking about them, wondering if they are ok. When you miss them even though it hasnt been more than a day or so since you have last seen them. But MOSTLY, when you put their needs ahead of your own, when their happiness is more important than your pain. When you REALLY love someone your willing to give it your all. And, youll know when you are. It might be confusing at first..... But youll know!
