My heart breaks for this little girl and her dog. :/ According to the original poster: ATHENA, ID #A462998 San Bernardino City Shelter, (909)384-1304. Spoke to owner in parking lot, the dogs name is ATHENA. SHE IS 5 years old and adores children, walks really well on leash, potty trained, just an absolute love. The woman was as hysterical as her daughter. We were all crying and hugging. Feel so bad and I cant help her, but share her story. Its a situation where they rent apartment and landlord said no more pitbull. She even took out an extra insurance policy to cover ATHENA, but landlord said no. I could tell this woman is sincere and completely heartbroken. She gave me her card and wants to know if someone saves her. Shes had her 5 years.
