The 24-kilometer stretch of lighted candles will be spotted from the Daniel Z. Romualdez (DZR) Airport down to barangay Nula-tula in the north. “This is not a procession,” clarified Jeff Manibay, organizer of “One Tacloban,” a non-government initiative that aims to memorialize Yolanda victims and casualties. Manibay, who operates a local TV station, lost his parents to the killer typhoon. He informed that local radio stations will start broadcasting the event at 3 p.m. on that day. The anchors will update the public on the sequence of events. (PIA-8) mb.ph/visayas-newsbits-for-october-8-2014/
