No backseat and optional metal panels instead of the rear windows, the Golf MK2 Van was popular for delivery services or small companies. The UK version is based on the C model and CL for The Netherlands, both with a flat trunk. At first sight,they look identical to a normal Golf, but there are a lot of small differences, both in the basic bodywork and interior. For example the C-style covers and strenghtened B-styles to hold the partition. Offcourse the metal protection plates on the trunk and the styrofoam.filling are already known from the Postgolf edition.
