Our lovable goofball husky Cherokee went over the rainbow Bridge a few nights ago. He has been in our family for over ten years now. Mystik (the grey one) picked him out at a husky rescue event. She was Jens baby even before we had met. You couldnt meet a more mischievously stubborn dog than her. I have heard people joke that Jen wears the pants in the family, but I know Mystik did. She had been battling a tumor on her leg for quite awhile and just before the end of the year we felt we had to help her over that bridge as well. We knew Cherokee had been suffering some lately but still very unexpected. I guess they came into our life together and it seems like they left together.
