Review plans for transit alternatives that alleviate traffic People who live, work, play or study in the U.S. 41 and Interstate 75 areas, between Cobb County and the city of Atlanta, are invited to learn about new and exciting proposed transit options. The Connect Cobb Northwest Transit Corridor project is in the environmental assessment phase and a combination of bus rapid transit along US 41 and express bus service along I-75 has been identified as the locally preferred alternative. The project team will host a public meeting 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12, to show the community the latest information on the project and collect input. The meeting will be held in Ballroom A of the Cobb Galleria Centre, Two Galleria Parkway, Atlanta. Those who are unable to attend the meeting can still learn about the project and submit their thoughts. A project video and survey will be posted at cobbdot.org/connectcobb.htm.
