Nate Johnson introduced us to the LOVELY LADIES OF BEARDING competitions (yep ladies, beards), Sean Koepenick reviewed the SIMPLE MINDS show at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston (Dont you forget about them); Tony Shea threw down 8 interesting facts about music legend Lou Reed (WHO KNEW?) to commemorate his death; Mike Monroe published the second chapter of his ongoing sci-fi western serial AFTERLIFE; for HALLOWEEN: we filled the garage with 25 gems of SPOOKY absurd clutter, Jay Hood took us on a scary photo tour of New Orleans while Nate Johnson (clicking on the board twice last week) visited the real life film locations used in John Carpenter’s 1976 scarefest “HALLOWEEN.” Finally, Dan ODay McClellan reviewed the Candygram for Mongo show at the legendary Whisky A Go Go on LA’s famed Sunset Strip.
