Saddest part of my work is watching all the preventable self-torment people put themselves through based on perceptions that are not real - perceptions they choose to believe instead of discard. So many people I know, so pretty on the outside - living so unpretty on the inside - looking so lean and normal weight on the outside - living so overweight and fat on the inside - not realizing we all live our lives more from the inside-out, than from the outside-in -> The lesson: empowerment is a choice, not an achievement.
