Sluggish traffic on the NJ Turnpike Sunday morning--north and south--but my usual spleen in traffic was mitigated by memories of a wonderful wedding. Jessica Berta and Tom Torre are now Mr. and Mrs... They shined in the ceremony, and they glistened at the reception. Prayers for many happy years for them. I expect an emotional week as we get toward 50 years since the March on Washington. Those years forever marked my heart. How wonderful to see a dumped-on people rise and insist on their dignity. Looking forward to "The Butler" if I can find time this week. We shall overcome; too bad we still have such a long way to go.
