So, Con and myself have booked the The Pocket of Sunshine Folk Club for this Friday. For anyone who is unfamiliar to what its about, every last Friday of the month we book the back room in the Rowing Club in Carlow to hope for a round of people and music. We havent got many faces for the last while so we didnt bother booking the room for the last few months. So the fact were gunna give it another whirl, give us a shout on this post if your schedule if free for Friday and if youre up for a round of laughs and melodys, or just need to escape the busy life of out there for a night. Were thinking about getting the tables together and having a rectangle swing turn of what ever music that might be had , rather than the open mic. But its not set in stone yet. We need people there first to decide anything. lol. So, for the people that have yelled their voice here before, to those who swayed their head & ears to merriness and to those who shared their original music, poetry and general banter - please come back if you can. Completely open to new folk. Anyway, Hope to see some old and new faces, if not, another time perhaps ?
