So, Ive got a hairball theory and perhaps one of the geologically educated could slap me if Im wrong. But could the recent and rather oddly located Quake have anything to do with the drought? With so much less weight in the manner of ground water and the lakes no longer holding 100s of millions of tons of water, could it possibly cause enough change in the weight of the soil that 3 miles down and plate shifts?
