So the first step toward the understanding of truth is to guard each thought and word and keep them true, for words of truth spoken either audibly or silently, heal and make wise and peaceful. They quicken to action such a change for the better that we wonder how so great a power has been unobserved for so long. We no longer worry over things that once troubled us, for we know how to put that all from us by the word of our speaking. True words cause us to enter into a new country where disease, sin and death are not known. All is health and joy, peace and plenty, home and harmony. These things are ours, for "by our words we are justified." we become just like our words. True words open the very portals of heaven and disclose to our view and for our possession, all its glorious blessings, because true words bring harmony within and around us, and harmony is Heaven.
