Someone asked me: Ano ba talaga gusto mong gawin? The context was work related, but my brain, being my brain, just couldnt help itself. And, suddenly, the question got a lot more difficult. What do I want to do? A lot of things. I want to see whats beyond that horizon, to reach up towards the moon and stars. I want to climb the oldest, tallest tree on the planet and lie down on one of its branches to watch clouds shift through the skies. I want to map some uncharted forest on a small island Ive never even heard of. I want to climb a mountain and watch the sun rise and set from its peak. I want to go down to the dungeons of this worlds caves and underground channels. I want to walk through the desert. I want to jump off from the top of a waterfall and swim in the clean, fresh water of a natural river. I want to teach what I can to those who will accept it, and learn all I can from everyone and everything. I want to see and hear and breathe and feel and live through the many facets of this world, because it is, at once, amazingly beautiful and terribly frightening. And, because I am a hopelessly selfish person, I want to experience it all, was what went through my head... But the answer I gave was: Id like more experience in this field.
