Take a look at some of the action from todays Miami HEAT grand opening of the new NBA Cares Learn & Play Center at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. The center, refurbished in partnership with State Farm and Samsung, will provide youth with a safe place to play and resources to help them explore their academic interests. Miami HEAT players and executives, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and other league executives were on hand to interact with students in the new Learn & Play Center and help cut the ribbon on their transformed space. The Learn & Play, the 14th that the HEAT have created in South Florida, includes high-tech learning tools – Samsung televisions, computers, printers and tablets - and a reading space stocked with new books and boardgames. The Center also features new furnishings and HEAT-themed decorations.
