The problem in Malaysia for a Malay is that we are FORCED to subscribe to a specified thought, determined by those who wield the religious card, although it goes very much against your own conscience and logic. It just pricks your brain instead of picking your brain. How can we be forced to accept religious intolerance and indoctrinations which goes against the whole concept of justice? We are supposed to turn off our brains and completely turn ourselves into their illogical conclusions. Whereas the Quran specifically asks us to use our aqal hundreds of times. My basis of justice is those that are found in the Quran. Not man made male human juristic interpretations. How can you convince me that I am supposed to refer to other than the Quran for my faith? Hadis are a source of reference but the Quran supercedes anything else. And Ijma or Qiyas are not binding as they are made not necessarily through consensus as there are differing opinions. How can it be considered a consensus if there are differences of opinions? And these so called consensus most times goes against the Quran and Hadis. So it goes against Quran, Hadis and Logic. And they still want to call it Islam? Islam means to submit to God. And no one else.
