The reason why you do not hear so much about conservative atheists on the news and abroad is that we are actually busy living out own lives and are not trying to impose our views on other people. We understand that religion has and continues to pay a major role on this planet. We may not agree with your belief system, but that shouldnt be a turn-away point. There are many other things that bring us together than just religion. Being conservative doesnt make you religious. Just like being a liberal doesnt necessarily make you an atheist. Being a conservative means that you are not for change because of just wanting change. We are not afraid of change, its just that when the change occurs, it should be beneficial to all, not just to a select few that it might benefit. And that change must also include PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. When it becomes a gift, an individual becomes less important. They become a slave to the gift-bearer. Thats not freedom. We conservative atheists are responsible for our own actions and understand that no one is above or below another person. We just live.
