They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall - TopicsExpress

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat (Revelation 7:16). These things, which they are given in Heaven, are in opposition to the horrors that they suffered while on this earth. They severely suffered for “the testimony of Jesus Christ” while they were on this earth. While they were on earth it would have been virtually impossible for them to have purchase any food, clothing, or shelter because they did not have the mark of the beast. The suffering, which they endured was terrible and continual. Hunger can drive humans to extreme but these Saints of God accepted the hunger and thirst and continued to overcome, right to the end of their lives. They suffered miserable under the heat of the sun of summer and the cold of the winter but they still endured in the faith. Verses regarding the “mark of the beast” is found in Revelation 13:17; 14:9, 11; 15:2; 16:2; 19:20; 20:4. As people sit in the comforts of a heated, or an air conditioned home, with all the comforts available to them today, it is hard to imaging life without such material comfort, but these Saints will experience suffering first hand. In Heaven their suffering will be over and they will no longer want for anything. Those who persecuted them will remain under Gods wrath and when the ungodly die their souls will suffer eternally in the Lake of Fire. God will avenge the wrong done to His children. God will wrap those beloved Saints in His loving arms and hold them securely. They have proven their love for Jesus and they will receive a great reward for their service.
