Today is Day sixteen of the Month with which we are supposed to remember to be thankful....I am 16 day behind sooooo..... Here are 16 things/people I am Thankful for in my life... :) 1. Debbie Castillo, I am thankful for my beautiful mother! She has always taken car of me and been there for me to talk to growing up! She has been my Guardian Angel, always watching over me, protecting and loving me when I wasnt able to do so for myself! Thank you mom for being my Role Model! If I become even Half the Woman you are I will be blessed! Thank you for helping me become the strong, loving, independent woman I am now! 2. Bill Castillo Thank you dad for being the rock of my life! For being my knight in shinning armor and my Dad! Thank you for pushing me to be the best me I can be! Thank you for pushing me to always follow my dreams and to pursue a better life! I love you Dad! 3. My Siblings.( Jarid Castillo, Rayann Lagmay, Jesse Castillo, Emilee Castillo & Karson Castillo) You five amazing people have been my best friends and my worst enemies! Thank you guys for teaching me how to deal with conflict, Face diversities, Create forever bond, and always being 5 people I know will ALWAYS love me! Summers will never be better then they were with you running around having wars and stick fights! Thank you guys so much for being the most incredible friends I have ever had before in my whole life! 4. My Best Friends. (You know who you are!) Thank you guys for constantly having my back in every situation and circumstance! Thanks for having the times of our lifes and adventures that taught lessons and (the parts we can recall) wont ever be forgotten! 5. My Kauai Freinds & Family! Thank you all for furthering me on my path to become the most complete me! You all helped me learn things I wouldnt have even the slightest clue about if I hadnt made one of the most life changing decissions of my life and gone to Kauai to meet all of you amazing people and experience all of the crazy things i did! 6. Young Blazed. Thank you so much for helping me through some of the hardest times of my life! You took me in and took care of me at a time in my life when I was completely lost! Thank you for taking care of me and supporting me while i learned how to take care of myself! If not for all the things you did for me, and all the times you looked out for me I would have been lost and probably not made it as far as I did on kauai! You are the most amazing friend I have had in the longest time!! I will never forget you and Indica, Helping me, taking care of me, and loving me! You both are Family forever!!!! Thank you both so very much! 7. Tyler Wallace & A Little Blue-Lyon Fish Thank you both for being my partners in crime and two pieces of my heart! You both have taught me so much! Helped me, Protected me, Loved me and supported me when I was learning some very hard lessons! You both are two very special members of my soul family and without the both of you I might still be Homeless in Hawaii, Which would be warmer but... Im happy to be back in the P.N.W. I cant wait for our next Adventure, Even if it isnt till the next lifetime we share! 8. Courtney Lynn Dohrman You are my other (better) half! Youre an Insperation!! Strength, dedication, comitment, leadership, Bad-Ass-Ness, Being drop-dead beautiful! You have been through so much with me and I pray well have many many more adventures to come! One day I hope youll be standing next to me at my wedding, holding my hand while I have my first kid, waving our babies off to kindergarten, college, Watching them get married, and eventually running people over in our wheelchairs when we are old grumpy farts! Youve seen me at my very lowest and helped me climb back up every slippery slope Ive tumbled down! Youve always been by my side and I hope you will remain there no matter the distance between us! I will always love you Courtney, My best friend, My blond to my (no so) brunette, My drunken long boarding Lover! You will always be so very important in my life and I cant wait till we get to spend some more time together since I am back home! 9. All My Friends In The Past. Thank you, every single person in my life who I have considered a friend! We may not have hung out a lot, and we maybe dont talk to much anymore... but all of you have helped me more then you know! Having friends, and people that I can talk to and turn to, trust and rely on, even for short periods of my life, allowed me to have hope and faith that everything in life would turn out Perfect! You all have saved my life! In more ways then one and I will never forget that! Thank you! 10. Smoky Con-Radd Ma-homie Thank you for being awesome! For helping me out and sharing space and time with me! And everything else you share with me! I am so happy you have come into my life and I cant wait to see where the roads ahead lead us! You are an Amazing man and I am beyond happy that we met! You are the bestest!!! and dont you forget it! 11. My Life It took me 18 years to finally appreciate this life I was given, and 19 to understand that I am now a stronger, Happier and Better person because of it! The things I have faced and experienced have truly shaped me as a person! I have grown and learned so much in the 19 years Ive spent on this earth, and I have finally just learned to truly appreciate all of it in the last 11 months since I moved to Kauai and Then Back to Washington! I thank every second of my life, and every hardship and exciting moment Ive lived through and learned from! 12. This Planet We call Home! Every second I look at the beauty that surrounds me I am in Awe! This beautiful planet we get to call home is blessing on top of blessing! I have been privileged enough to get to explore most of this beautiful state I was born in and The wonder Garden Island Kauai! Seeing both those enchanting places and thats it... I can ALREADY say this planet is more wonderful then it gets credit for! So I am paying thanks to the Trees and all the Plants that provide us the air we breath and are always ready to listen to our secrets, keeping them forever never telling a soul! And to all the creatures on this wonderful planet that we share for being ready to sacrifice their spirit and soul to provide us with the food and energy we need to survive! Thank you Gaia, My Mother Earth, For giving me Sanctuary and always being there for me! 13. My Extended Family Thank you everyone whos been there for my Mom & Dad, who helped my family when we were in need! Thank you everyone who prayed for my Mom while she was beating Cancer, Everyone who helped my Dad during that time and everyone who supported my siblings and were there for them to talk to about there concerns and worries! Thank you everyone who Was there when we were struggling as a family, and when things were getting out of hand! Thank you all the angels who watched out for us and took us into your hands to hold protect and love unconditionally! Every person in My life whos loved us, helped us, protected us, camped with us, had bonfires, birthday parties, potlucks, Gingerbread houses, And everything else! Thank you My extended family!!! 14. All the People Who Helped Me! Thank you for going out of your way to help out a struggling young girl! For all the funds lent to me a afloat, to all who took me in when I had no place to go, feed me when I was hungry, bummed me a smoke when I was down and out, and smiled at me for no reason. To those who lended a helping hand, a ride, advice, anything! I am thankful for every kind hearted person Ive crossed paths with who have bettered me. You are all angels and I hope you all are continuing to be blessed angels and beautiful beams of light! Thank you All so much!!!! 15. Shelby Staples-Benak For being my New older sister, Taking care of me and helping me in so very many ways! You are an amazing wonderful soul who Has gone out of your way to help me out! Thank you for everything you have told me, taught me, and helped me to do! You are amazing and I would be blessed to have a Older sister like you in my life to look up to and look out for! If you ever need ANYTHING I got you girl!!! Youre a rock star! Last but not least.... Today I am thankful for Music.... If I hadnt had headphones in during some of the hardest times in my life I may not be here. Music helped pull me through many very depressed moments in my life and Helped me stay perfectly myself when i was pressured into trying to be like everyone else. I was blessed with an artistic mind and have found that Singing is my soup for the soul! I have learned so much about me though singing and playing guitar, and I must thank my Mom and Dad again for always being supportive of their little girls dream to share her music with the world! Tagging everyone that can fit into one of these categories! ( hopefully I wont forget anyone)
