We welcome the following teachers to our St. PeterFaculty for the 2014-2015 school year:-Emily Veihl, who will be teaching second grade. Emily attended St. Mary Catholic School (Blessed Sacrament) in grades kindergarten through eighth grade, Quincy Senior High School, and graduated in May from Quincy University with a B.S. in Ele- mentary Education. She also teaches PSR at Blessed Sacrament. This summerEmily will be getting married to Cruz Mellon who attended St. Peter School.-Cindy Ley Brown, who will be teaching sixth grade. Cindy attended St. Peter Grade School and Quincy Notre Dame. She received her B. S. in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University and a M.S. in Elementary Education from South- west Baptist University. Cindy taught at St. Peter School for five years before going to teach in the Quincy Public Schools. When this position came open Cindy “felt the pull to return to teaching in a Catholic School atmosphere”. She is married to David Brown and they have four children.-Hannah Metz, who will be an eighth grade homeroom teacher and teach Science to both seventh and eighth grades. Hannah is a graduate of Peoria Notre Dame High School and graduated in May from Eureka College with a B.S. in Elementary Education.We are happy to welcome each of these ladies to our St. Peter School family!
