A Christmas Message From UnitedPeople. . Hello, . Those to that have stood and marched peacefully this last few years - and the latter months - against the Irish water scam being tried upon the people, I wish to thank you all. . Some of us - you all know who you are - have been fighting this battle for well over two years now. Not like political parties that have just jumped aboard the struggle as of late for political gain and general election votes to come, ye have been peaceful in action this long time without NO self thoughts of personal gain but putting your country and its people constantly first. Well done to you! . For very many that have taken the time this year to join UnitedPeople. The willingness of you to step forward and try and make positive change for your country and its people, do you great credit. Whatever happens in the future, this will always stand to your character. . As mentioned in the UnitedPeople internal discussion group on Facebook, come the new year, things will begin to more happen. Details on that will be discussed in the UP forums and sorted in the new year. . In the meantime the increasing of member numbers around the country is very important. If you have fellow family or friends that wish not only to change government policies but as important, change the actual way we hold our political representatives accountable at all levels, including the departments they run, please ask them to join as soon as possible. Plans are in place and there is more coming. . Those that have joined (thank you!) and are NOT included in to the Facebook internal discussion group, please notify myself or Aindriú Dissident Orkney found on Facebook. About 15% of people that have signed up have not provided the title they call themselves just on Facebook as a name. This is important. Its needed as to provide new members access to the above mentioned internal discussion section. If you are not already included in the Facebook section, please let us know. . This country needs change and not just more policy window-dressing that happens at every election. The more political aware (you) see this better and clearly you wish to push for something more. Thats why UnitedPeople was formed - and thats the direction we are heading. Our fist initial task is to get as many people along side us in agreement and then get organised. We have to walk before we start running (this is where other new groups are failing - they have just become weekly talking shops). So starting in the new year clear planning is going to further commence. . Making people aware we exist is a big part of this struggle. Given that we are an unknown and the national media is to some extent not willing to give much coverage to new groups - be it they are Denis OBrien connected through Irish News & Media (INM) or they are afraid to bite a government hand that feeds then to a great extent - we have to make people aware we exist by other means. This involves footwork, public meetings and other methods to raise out existence to other around the country. . The planning of this will further begin also in the new year as soon as possible. I personally am tied up till January 28th, five days a week. In the spare time that I have had, its been already dedicated towards our goal. This will continue. After January 28th Im going to up what I have been previously doing even more massively. Im determined to make a difference or at least by peaceful method die trying. . Those that have joined, I hope you will enjoy your membership of UnitedPeople. Till the new year and when things really start to move, I hope you (while continuing to watch what antics our unwanted gets up to) will take some time to rest and re-energise for the new year. we have no easy task a head but I have found there is many determined people out there like myself that is willing to step up and give it a go. . Im looking forward to the new year. It wont be easy at times. we WILL be attacked and not just from the government parties but from others in other already established political groups that underlying also fear the introduction of a system that could hold them (and us) all more accountable to the people - but they wont state this is the reason (that would be bad PR for them) - so they will try to find and use other excuses to attack and run us down. Expect this but remember, you are NOT on your own. You are part of a united group now and I call on all members to look out and have each others back. Its the right thing to do. I have every confidence in you all in helping in what way you can, to do this. . The positive possibilities for Ireland and its people if organised right are endless. Organisation is the key. There will be a lot of structure within UP - and meetings with have a start, middle and ending according to pre-prepared work, agenda, analysis corrective and further progression. This is where others new, have already failed and dont wish to change their ways to correct their own failings and have just become meet-ups and little else. Many in UnitedPeople will have learned from the mistakes of self and of others. Through better organisation and error learning, we can do things better. Organisation will be our key to success. Lets make that happen. . Thank you again members for willing to step up and join UnitedPeople. Its MUCH deeply appreciated. I look forward to talk to you all in the new year if we dont through Facebook or a new member only internet forum (external to Facebook) that will be also available now also to members. To the Irish public that are willing to continue to make new better choices, I hope ye will remember to do this despite the incoming PR stunts that WILL come for the old tired established parties that are continuing to to be filled with same as previous antics of nepotism, cronyism and now sudden jumping ship independents that will also try re-selling themselves despite standing by many of their previous party policies and saying nothing - NOT being with the people! . The Irish people in the next months - between now and the general election - have time now to get their thoughts together and their act, to seek out new choices, new ways for a better Irish political and social system, for helping to maintain our freedoms of more choice (in spite of one OBrien trying to buy everything?), to help maintain our right to much needed information and ability to peaceful protest without harassment from government ordered agents. . There is a lot to do - a lot of work ahead and in some cases, little time. We of UnitedPeople hope you will step forward and offer up some of your spare time to assist us in creating real change, of not just policies (them too though) but also of underlying foundation system change that other parties are unwilling to go near. Their direction is just more window-dressing. We want to be different - we WILL be striving to be different. ...Judge us by our actions - not just our words. . To all in Ireland, to those abroad and those who have a love of the Irish country, I will you and your family a Happy Christmas and New Year.
