A tribute to our heritage: The success of this past year has caused me to reflect on our heritage/ministry training. I find it interesting that in December of 1966, Wayne Mullen began First Bible Baptist Church. Our building at 1095 East Henrietta Rd laid its cornerstone the same exact month and year. Other coincidences is the similarity of FBBCs brick building at North Greece Rd. Like our building, it set back off the main road and was numbered close to ours (1039). As a tribute to 1039 North Greece Rd, we created a fireplace room in our fellowship hall. As a tribute to 990 Manitou Rd, we built our new sign from leftover brick of the current FBBC campus. We honor our heritage by ministering the way we were trained.
