ADEMOLA AFOLAYAN WROTE! OSBC astray Hen has finally come home to roost. After about 4 years of too dirty media un-professionalism by the Osun State Broadcasting Co-Oporation in favour of APC and the government of Rauf Aregbesola against the opposition, yesterday marked a great turnaround in history. You will recall that majority People in the State have grown mistrust in the OSBC due to its bias for a section of politician which has resulted in loss of quality Listeners or Audience. The situation is so worrisome to the extent that objectivity became an aberration in the day to day operation of the institution. In an attempt to solving this public concern of Osun State People, the Candidate of the PDP in the August 9th Governorship Election, Iyiola Omisore Apesin Oodua rose to the challenge and established a new Radio Station which has become a darling place and source for healthy news and happenings in the State and Beyond. As soon as relief came the way of Osun State People, Many care-less about the constant APC lies on the OSBC channels. In fairness to the Staff of OSBC, most of them are unhappy to do the hatchet job except for a few who have sold their conscience to the APC administration.Some who dared to be upright were axed by this government. I remember Shittu Alamu, Tunji Idowu, Bukky Egbedofo amongst Others today. So it got to a stage that Workers had to be mindful and thoughtful of the security of their job. I am saying this in confidence because a number of Senior OSBC Staff are in talk with Me for atleast 2 years now under the outgoing goverment. This is sadly not the way to go under a democracy. Back to the original point, A full team from OSBC arrived the PDP Headquarter in Osogbo yesterday to express their desire and intention to follow the PDP campaign train henceforth. The Question is Why Yesterday? Did the campaign start yesterday? We quickly adduced two reasons which are likely responsible for OSBC sudden good behaviour. First, it is obvious to all that Rauf Aregbesola have largely lost the August 9th Governorship Election even before its conduct. This is because there seems to be a common consensus everywhere in Osun State North East West or South that Lagos Annex Government being presently run by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola must end this year. The second is the gradual threat to OSBC dominance by the newly established Radio station; Crown 101.5 FM. For those still in doubt that Iyiola Omisore will emerge, Please eschew your uncertainty and read OSBC language very well. We wish to assure the assigned OSBC Staff on the PDP campaign train great love and maximum security of their lives and belongings during the course of their assignment until we take over government and Beyond. We like to admonish them to profess what they have preached to the party by reporting the campaign objectively and without sentiment. We recognise that God is ever forgiving and so I say Go and sin no more!!! God bless Osun State...
