Alright ladies and gentlemen. The Ebola jokes are inappropriate. I understand sometimes its easier to kid about something tragic to lighten its severity or to possibly make yourself not worry so much, unfortunately were past that now. The truth is theres a deadly uncontrolled disease within driving distance of us. A disease that has officially taken the lives of 4,447 beings who were once on this earth. A disease to which they have no cure yet, and a disease to which we have not been certain on how to prevent. You wouldnt joke if your family member or friend had it. You wouldnt joke about someone with cancer, or who died in a car wreck. You wouldnt make memes about families being ripped apart, or any of the distasteful things Ive seen so dont do it now. There are 100% HEALTHY beings volunteering their lives to be tested on so that we can be healthy. Being tested on requires them to contract the Ebola virus, BY CHOICE. So next time you think its funny to drop an Ebola joke or like a thoughtless meme I hope you realize youre spitting in the face of those who are trying to save your life. Youre mocking those who have broken families as a result of this disease. Youre straight up inconsiderate and I truly hope you realize how disgusting and inappropriate your joke was. If it were up to me Id have those who obviously think its so funny just have the testing done on them. Guess thats why Im me, and God is sovereign. At least we have the peace to know in all things he knows what hes doing. I truly hope next time you see something as distasteful as I have seen lately you wont encourage it either.
